Avantium wins GPEC 2010 Clean Technology Business Award

Orlando, USA: 15 March 2010 - Avantium received the first place award of the Clean Technology Business Forum & Competition at the Global Plastics Environmental Conference (GPEC) 2010 in Orlando, USA. This was announced at the Awards Dinner of the GPEC, organized by the Society of Plastics Engineers.

Avantium was selected because of the major progress the company has made in unlocking the enormous potential of Furanics green plastics. The jury stated that "Furanics have the potential to enhance and change the global plastics industry, as these green building blocks can now be produced economically for a wide range of materials and applications".
