Ducatt starts production of the ultimate solar glass

Lommel, Belgium: 13 December 2011 - Exiting moments. "On December 12, 2011 we started the production of our ultimate solar glass. It was an exciting moment!" Roel Bollen, CEO of Ducatt proudly reveals. "Feeling the heat of that oven, to see that first mix of sand and recycled glass being melted, and most of all - to see that first surge of glass flowing out of it."

"We completely rebuilt our production facility with a brand new dedicated solar glass furnace and state-of-the-art production lines. From now on, manufacturers of photovoltaic modules can request glass samples and orders can be placed."
