Gene expression RNA-Seq data analysis becomes simpler with the collaboration of Lexogen and Bluebee.

Vienna, Austria and Rijswijk, The Netherlands: 19 October 2016 - Today Lexogen, a transcriptomics and next generation sequencing company, announces collaboration with Bluebee, a leading provider of high-performance genomics solutions, for implementation of QuantSeq data analysis pipeline on the Bluebee genomics analysis platform.

Lexogen's QuantSeq 3' mRNA-Seq Library Prep Kit has already been recognized as one of the fastest, most cost-efficient, and accurate methods for expression profiling using next generation sequencing. It is also the most preferable alternative to microarrays for this application. The data analysis for QuantSeq is based on counting of the transcripts and therefore is very straightforward and fast.

By making the QuantSeq analysis pipeline available on the Bluebee genomics analysis platform the data evaluation can be easily done by any user, including those who do not have any experience with bioinformatics tools. This makes QauntSeq an exceptional tool for gene expression analysis, which is accurate, fast, affordable, and bioinformatically not challenging. "We believe that implementing a ready-to-use data analysis pipeline on the Bluebee platform is an important step forward in making QuantSeq the most easy-to-use and cost-efficient gene expression profiling workflow available," said Dr. Alexander Seitz, CEO and founder of Lexogen.

At the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) meeting 2016 in Vancouver Lexogen and Bluebee will present the result of collaboration during several demonstrations at the Bluebee exhibition booth.
